This was my first ever plaster casting experience. Although I didn’t have time for the beach, doing it at home was a lot easier than I thought. I used three buckets; I used two for sand and the other for mixing the plaster. Play sand was the cheapest material I purchased for this project. The most stressful part of this project was getting the mold as it took some time to not get the sand to collapse. I found it pretty convenient doing it at home as I was able to give the plaster a longer time to dry. It was an overall cool experience and glad it didn’t come out too bad.
